Wellington, Nov 26 NZPA - Prime Minister John Key was on his way to Trinidad and Tobago for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting tonight after aircraft problems caused a brief delay in Honolulu.
Mr Key left yesterday with a delegation on board the Air Force Boeing 757.
A spokeswoman for Mr Key said that after arrival in Hawaii routine maintenance work uncovered a problem. It was fixed after a couple of hours.
The meeting takes place from November 27 to 29 as the Commonwealth celebrates its 60th anniversary.
