Wellington, April 7 NZPA - Former Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Michael Cullen will resign from Parliament at the end of the month.
He has been appointed to the board of New Zealand Post. He was expected to become deputy chair in the medium term, State Owned Enterprises Minister Simon Power said.
Other roles included acting as principal advisor to the chair of Waikato-Tainui and was expected to be playing a negotiating role with Ngati Tuwharetoa in their treaty negotiations.
