ANZ New Zealand today announced the appointment of Andrew Sheed as General Manager Property Finance.

Mr Sheed has been acting in the position since April. Today's announcement will see him formally join ANZ New Zealand's Commercial & Agri Leadership Team.

Mr Sheed's history with ANZ goes back to 1984 when he worked for the Addington branch after leaving school. After three years he resigned to travel overseas, followed by study at the University of Canterbury.

In 1991 he rejoined ANZ and has held senior roles in International Services, Markets and Institutional Banking. In 2008 he moved to Property Finance where he held Regional Manager positions based in Auckland and Wellington.

Mr Sheed holds an MBA with Distinction and a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking from Massey University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Economics from the University of Canterbury.
