ASB has lowered its 3-year special fixed home loan rate by 0.30% from 4.79% p.a. to 4.49% p.a.

The rate change, applied to the three-year fixed rate, celebrates the All Blacks as three-time world champions.

ASB Head of Home Lending Vince Clark says as the bank that backs the All Blacks, ASB is pleased to offer this competitive rate to help celebrate the All Blacks’ win on the weekend.

"A great win deserves a great rate," Mr Clark says.

The special rate offer can be applied to new and existing home lending, provided customers have a loan to value ratio (LVR) of 80% or less.

The change was effective, for new and existing ASB customers, from 5pm Tuesday, November 3.
