Wellington, Dec 11 NZPA - Telecom's Gen-i has lost a big client, Meridian Energy, to TelstraClear.
The Australian-owned company said today it was partnering with Fujitsu to deliver all telephony, mobile, data and internet services to Meridian, the nation's biggest electricity generation company.
The multi-million dollar, five year contract, extends a relationship between TelstraClear and Meridian that started 12 months ago with the upgrading of its contact centres.
The transition of services to TelstraClear and Fujitsu from Gen-i is expected to start in early 2010.
