Wellington, Oct 11 NZPA - The establishment of a regulatory regime for airports has moved closer with the publication by the Commerce Commission of revised draft decisions on the information affected airports will need to publicly disclose.

The revised draft was released today for technical consultation, in what is expected to be the final consultation step before the information disclosure requirements for specified airport services are finalised, due by the end of the year.

Changes since a draft determination was published on May 31 related to the disclosure of historical financial information, quality measures, forecast total revenue and supporting information, pricing and pricing-related information, and certification and audit information, the commission said.

Submissions are due by November 5.

The airports regulatory regime is to apply to specified airport services supplied by the companies operating Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington international airports.
