Wellington, June 8 NZPA - James Miller, an ABN Amro Craigs executive, is joining the board of lines company Vector Ltd.
The appointment was announced by chairman Michael Stiassny and takes the number of board members to eight.
"Mr Miller, an executive director of ABN AMRO Craigs, brings considerable strategic and financial experience to the role as well as an in-depth knowledge of the energy industry," said Mr Stiassny.
Mr Miller joined ABN Amro Craigs in March 2009 from his previous role as head of New Zealand equities for ABN Amro, according to the company's website.
He played a leading role in transactions involving Vector, United Networks, Contact Energy and Auckland International Airport while at ABN Amro.
He previously worked at BZW and was head of New Zealand research.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand, a Certified Securities Analyst Professional, a member of the New Zealand Stock Exchange, a member of the Institute of Directors and has attended the Harvard University Advanced Management Programme.
