Wellington, Oct 12 NZPA - Software company Diligent Board Member Services has reported its strongest quarterly sales performance, adding $US860,000 ($NZ1.14 million) of new annualised licence fee income.
That was $US110,000 better than its previous best quarterly result, as a high level of interest continued in the company's Boardbooks product, Diligent said today.
The company had achieved its goal of becoming cashflow breakeven in the third quarter of 2010, reflecting the increasing acceptance of Boardbooks.
Diligent, which offers licences for a web-based portal that enables board materials to be updated and examined before and during board meetings, said that significant signature corporations AOL and ExxonMobil joined its user list in the three months to September 30.
"The addition of such key corporate clients epitomises the value that Diligent brings to the market place," the company said.
"A key selling feature among the large multinational clients is that Diligent owns and manages its own infrastructure and its systems are secured through some of the strongest security technology available."
Diligent's third quarter results included net sales revenue up 68 percent from a year earlier to $US2.19m, and growth of 52 percent in total annualised licence fees to $US8.46m at the end of the quarter.
A net 41 new licences were added during the third quarter.
Diligent's share price closed at 64c yesterday, having ranged between 73c and 24c in the past year.
