Wellington, July 13 NZPA - The chief executive of APN News & Media, publisher of the New Zealand Herald, is stepping down at the end of the year.
Brendan Hopkins has headed the trans-Tasman media company for eight years, and will leave at the end of December. He was seconded to the role by parent company Independent News & Media.
The board has appointed Heidrick & Struggles to find a successor.
