Wellington, July 7 NZPA - New vehicle sales reached a 20-month high in June, with more than a quarter of the sales made by Toyota which dominated the rental market business.

Wellington, May 6 NZPA - New car registrations rose 30 percent to 4585 in April from a year ago, the Motor Industry Association said. It was the highest monthly increase for the year so far.

Wellington, Oct 6 NZPA - The number of new cars registered in New Zealand was at an 11-month high in September at 5593, New Zealand Transport Agency figures show. The figures were up 26.6 percent from 4417 in August but down 16.2 percent from the 6672 in September 2008.
