Wellington, March 8 NZPA - Former National Party leader Don Brash says he appreciates police efforts to find who was behind his emails being given to a journalist , but accepts the culprit will probably never be found.

Last week John Key said that New Zealanders could now kick the tyres of MMP at the upcoming referendum on the system to be held in conjunction with the 2011 election.

This week, the review into the Foreshore and Seabed Act 2004 reported back to Government and recommended the repeal of this inequitable and racist legislation.

Wellington, May 22 NZPA - Author Nicky Hager believes a review of the investigation into how he got his hands on Don Brash's private emails will prove police did their best to find out.

Former National Party leader Don Brash has welcomed a high level review of the police investigation into how his private emails ended up in a book. Police Commissioner Howard Broad announced the review this afternoon, following a call by Dr Brash for a commission of inquiry.
