Wellington, Nov 24 NZPA - The New Zealand sharemarket started strongly but faded in the afternoon session as the Australian market weakened and as an initial pubic offer (IPO) by Synlait was pulled.

Wellington, March 9 NZPA - The New Zealand share market was little changed today in which there was a dearth of corporate news. The near-flat performance followed similar market performances overseas and brokers said it was a matter of waiting for confidence to return.

Wellington, March 9 NZPA - An early rise in Fletcher Building stocks helped the sharemarket start the week with a small gain. Fletcher was up 10c in the first few minutes, before dropping back 5c, taking the stock to 520, after a 12c fall on Friday.
