Wellington, Jan 10 NZPA - Nationwide house values ended 2009 just 4.9 percent below the late-2007 peak, having been as much as 9.6 percent below the peak last April, QV's residential index for December shows.

Wellington, Dec 7 NZPA - Property values have risen 4.1 percent off their low in April 2009 but are still 5.9 percent below the market peak in late 2007, according to QV Valuation. Property values in November were 1 percent above last year and 0.2 percent above last month.

Wellington, Nov 8 NZPA - For the first time in 16 months residential property values are higher than they were a year earlier, QV figures show. A continued shortage of properties for sale is thought to be continuing to push up prices being paid.
