Anybody who is a fan of British comedy might possibly recognise the name Harry Enfield. Enfield, in one of his BBC comedy sketch series, parodies an old British Liberal Party advertisement 'L is for Liberal' by substituting it with 'L is for Labour'.

Wellington, Oct 8 NZPA - The New Zealand dollar remained steady overnight after recovering from a two-year low yesterday. The NZ dollar was buying US63.15c at 8am today, from US63.25c at 5pm last night.

Wellington, Sept 18 NZPA - The New Zealand sharemarket was down 2 percent soon after opening, following a plunge in United States stocks to a three-year low. In this country, the benchmark NZSX-50 index was down 65.58 points to 3204.35, minutes after its 10am opening.
